Why is there an 18+ age requirement?
Understand the account age rule and supervised practice by children.
Account holders must be 18 or older. This applies to Learner and Teacher accounts.
The age rule concerns who owns and operates an account, rather than the difficulty level of the educational material. A Class 6–12 topic can be relevant to an adult teacher, tutor, parent or guardian while the adult-account requirement still applies.
Why this rule exists
Accounts include policy consent, paid services, content management and support communication. The platform requires an adult account holder to accept and manage these responsibilities.
What about school-level content?
School topics can be used by eligible adults, teachers, parents and guardians. School-level content does not change the account age rule.
Can a child practice with a parent?
A parent or lawful guardian may supervise a child viewing or practicing educational content through the adult’s account. The adult must retain control of the account and login credentials. A child cannot create, own or independently operate an account.

Enter accurate age information during registration and follow any eligibility confirmation shown at checkout or in other features. If an account is found to belong to an ineligible under-18 user, it may be restricted, suspended or removed under platform rules.
Supervised practice through a parent’s or lawful guardian’s account does not give the child ownership or independent control of that account. The adult remains responsible for account use, payments and credentials.
