How do learner category access and educator plans differ?
Understand what each purchase unlocks and why switching roles does not buy access.
Learner category access unlocks paid quizzes in one category. An educator plan unlocks Teacher Dashboard tools and its learner allowance.
Both can belong to the same account, but they pay for different services. Choose access based on whether you want to attempt platform quizzes or create and manage your own.
Choose the access you need
- To attempt paid Quiz Pathshala category quizzes, buy that category as a Learner.
- To create quizzes, manage questions and review your learners, activate an educator plan or eligible trial as a Teacher.
- To attempt an available educator-created quiz, sign in as a Learner and meet that educator’s access rules; learners do not pay Quiz Pathshala separately for that quiz.
Useful information
One account, separate access
Every account supports Learner and Teacher roles. Switching roles changes the features you use; it does not activate a purchase. A learner category purchase does not unlock the dashboard, and an educator plan does not buy paid learner categories.
Renewal and capacity
Learner categories are purchased or renewed manually and do not use AutoPay. Educator activation requires AutoPay setup and follows its subscription terms. An educator’s unique-learner allowance applies to that educator’s quizzes, not to platform category purchases.
Free content and other categories
Available free category quizzes can be attempted without that category purchase. Buying one paid category does not unlock every category. Quiz schedule, modes and attempt rules still apply.
