What should I do if payment fails or money is deducted?

Learn what to do if your payment fails, money is deducted, or category access is not activated.

Sometimes a payment may fail, remain pending, or money may be deducted without access being activated immediately.

This can happen due to bank delay, payment gateway delay, network issue, or payment verification delay.

Common payment situations

Payment issues may happen in different ways.

Payment failed

Your payment may fail during checkout.

In this case, access will not be activated.

You can try again after checking your internet connection, bank account, UPI app, card, or payment method.

Money deducted but payment failed

Sometimes money may be deducted from your bank account, but the payment may still show as failed.

In many cases, the amount is automatically reversed by the bank or payment provider.

This reversal may take some time depending on your bank or payment method.

Payment successful but access not active

If payment is successful but your category access is not active, wait for a short time and refresh the page.

Sometimes payment verification may take a little time.

If access is still not active, contact Quiz Pathshala support with payment details.

What to do after a payment issue

Follow these steps if you face a payment issue.

Step 1: Check payment status

First, check whether the payment was successful, failed, or pending.

You can check:

  • Payment screen

  • Bank message

  • UPI app

  • Card statement

  • Email or SMS from payment provider

Step 2: Wait for a short time

If money was deducted but access is not active, wait for a short time.

Payment confirmation may take a few minutes in some cases.

Step 3: Refresh and login again

Refresh the page or logout and login again.

Make sure your active role is Learner if you are checking learner category access.

Step 4: Check the category again

Open the same category that you purchased.

If access is active, locked quizzes inside that category should be unlocked during the active access period.

When should I contact support?

You should contact Quiz Pathshala support if:

  • Payment was successful but access is not active

  • Money was deducted but payment status is unclear

  • You paid for a category but quizzes are still locked

  • You received payment confirmation but cannot access the category

  • You made duplicate payment for the same category

  • You need help checking a transaction

Details to include in your support request

When contacting support, include all important payment details.

Required details

Please include:

  • Registered email address

  • Category name

  • Payment date and time

  • Payment amount

  • Transaction ID or Payment ID or payment reference

  • Screenshot of payment confirmation, if available

Why these details are needed

These details help the support team check your payment and verify your access faster.

Without correct payment details, support may take more time to review the issue.

What happens after support review?

Quiz Pathshala will check the payment details and access status.

If payment is verified

If your payment is verified successfully, your category access may be activated as per the purchase details.

If payment failed

If the payment failed but money was deducted, the amount may be reversed by your bank or payment provider.

If duplicate payment happened

If duplicate payment is confirmed for the same order or category, it may be reviewed as per Quiz Pathshala’s Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Important note

Do not make repeated payments immediately if your first payment is pending.

Wait for payment confirmation or contact support if you are not sure.

Always keep your payment screenshot, transaction ID, or payment reference safe until your issue is resolved.
