How educator plans work
Quiz Pathshala provides educator plans for Teacher Dashboard access.
The main difference between educator plans may be based on learner limits, pricing, billing duration, and available features.
What is learner limit?
Learner limit means how many unique learners can attempt quizzes created by a teacher during a monthly cycle.
For example, if a teacher has a plan with a 50 learner limit, then the first 50 unique learners may be able to attempt that teacher’s quizzes during that month.
Learners can attempt multiple times
If a learner is already counted within the allowed learner limit, that learner attempt the teacher’s quizzes multiple times based on quiz settings.
For example, if the plan allows 50 learners, those 50 learners can continue attempting available quizzes according to quiz rules.
What happens when learner limit is full?
If the monthly learner limit is full, the next new learner may not be able to attempt that teacher’s quizzes.
For example, if the plan limit is 50 learners, the 51st new learner may not be allowed to attempt until the monthly learner limit resets or the teacher upgrades the plan.
Learner limit resets monthly
Learner limits reset every month while the teacher plan is active.
After the monthly reset, learners can again be counted from the beginning for the new monthly cycle.
What happens if teacher plan is not active?
If the teacher plan is expired, inactive, cancelled, or not renewed, Teacher Dashboard access may be locked.
In this case, the teacher’s categories and quizzes may be hidden from learners.
To make teacher-created content available again, the teacher may need to activate or purchase a valid teacher plan.
How to purchase a teacher plan
You can purchase a teacher plan from the educator plans or teacher plans section.
Step 1: Open educator plans
Go to the Educator Plans or Teacher Plans page on Quiz Pathshala.
Step 2: Compare available plans
Check the available teacher plans carefully.
Plans may have different limits and features, such as:
Learner limits
Plan pricing
Billing duration
Dashboard access
Question management features
Question bank usage
Quiz access controls
Other teacher features
Step 3: Choose a plan based on learner count
Select the plan that matches your requirement.
The most important thing to check is how many learners may attempt your quizzes every month.
For example, choose a plan based on whether you need access for around:
50 learners
200 learners
500 learners
More learners, if available
If you have a small batch, a lower learner limit may be enough.
If you have more learners, coaching batches, or a larger audience, you should choose a plan with a higher learner limit.
Individual plan is for self-use and home learning support
The Individual plan is useful for individual teachers, tutors, parents, or adult guardians who want to create quizzes for self-practice, testing, content preparation, or home learning support.
The Individual plan has a learner limit of 1.
This means quizzes created under the Individual plan are available only for the same registered adult user through their own account.
This plan is not designed for batches, coaching groups, public learners, or multiple learners.
If you want other learners, students, batches, or coaching learners to attempt your quizzes, choose a plan with a higher learner limit, such as Starter, Advanced, Professional, or another available plan.
Quiz Pathshala accounts are intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. Parents or adult guardians should use the platform through their own adult account and should not create accounts for minors or allow minors to register independently.
Step 4: Open checkout
After selecting a plan, continue to the checkout page.
On the checkout page, review all details carefully before payment.
You may see:
Plan name
Plan price
Billing duration
Learner limit
Trial details, if available
AutoPay or subscription details
Payment summary
Step 5: Complete payment or trial setup
To activate a paid teacher plan or trial, you may need to complete payment setup through the payment gateway.
If AutoPay is required for the selected teacher plan or trial, you need to complete the AutoPay setup during checkout.
AutoPay for teacher plans
Teacher plans may work through AutoPay or subscription billing.
This means the plan may renew automatically based on the billing cycle, unless cancelled as per platform rules.
Why AutoPay may be required
AutoPay may be required to:
Start a subscription-based teacher plan
Activate a free trial linked with a teacher plan
Continue the plan after the billing cycle
Avoid manual payment every cycle
Check before confirming
Before confirming payment or AutoPay setup, always check:
Plan name
Billing amount
Billing cycle
Learner limit
Trial period, if available
Renewal terms
Cancellation rules
Refund policy
What happens after successful activation?
After successful payment, trial setup, or subscription activation, your Teacher Dashboard access will be activated.
You can then open the Teacher Dashboard and start using available features based on your active plan or trial.
You may be able to:
Create teacher categories
Create teacher subcategories
Create quizzes
Add questions manually
Import questions using Excel
Use Global Bank
Use My Question Bank
Set quiz visibility
Set access code for private quizzes
Track learner attempts for your quizzes
View learner result details for your own quizzes
Do learners need to pay for teacher-created quizzes?
Learners do not need to pay Quiz Pathshala separately to attempt quizzes created by educators or teachers.
Teacher-created quizzes may appear on the Educators page along with the teacher profile, depending on quiz visibility and platform settings.
Public teacher quizzes
If a teacher keeps a quiz public, logged-in learners can attempt that quiz without paying separately for that quiz.
Private teacher quizzes
If a teacher keeps a quiz private, learners need the correct access code from the teacher to attempt it.
Access depends on teacher plan
Learner access also depends on the teacher plan being active, the quiz being available, and the learner limit being available.
What if Teacher Dashboard is locked?
Your Teacher Dashboard may be locked if you do not have active access.
Common reasons
Teacher Dashboard may be locked if:
Your free trial has ended
Your teacher plan has expired
Payment was not completed
AutoPay setup failed
Your subscription is inactive
Your account access is restricted due to policy reasons
What should I do?
If your Teacher Dashboard is locked, check your active plan or trial status.
You may need to purchase a teacher plan or complete the required payment setup to unlock dashboard access again.
What if learners cannot attempt my quizzes?
Learners may not be able to attempt your teacher-created quizzes for different reasons.
Common reasons
This may happen if:
Your teacher plan is inactive
Your teacher plan has expired
Your monthly learner limit is full
The quiz is private and learner does not have the correct access code
The quiz is not active or not available
The quiz schedule does not allow attempts at that time
What should I check?
Check your teacher plan status, learner limit usage, quiz visibility, access code settings, and quiz schedule.
If everything looks correct but learners still cannot attempt your quizzes, contact Quiz Pathshala support.
What if payment is successful but dashboard is still locked?
If your payment or AutoPay setup is successful but the Teacher Dashboard is still locked, wait for a short time and refresh the page.
If the issue continues, contact Quiz Pathshala support.
Please include:
Registered email address
Teacher plan name
Payment date and time
Payment amount
Transaction ID or Payment ID
Screenshot of payment confirmation, if available
Clear explanation of the issue
Important note
Teacher Dashboard access is available only with an active free trial or active teacher plan.
A free trial is not permanent access.
A free trial can be used only once per user.
If you activate a paid teacher plan without using the free trial first, you may not be eligible for a free trial later.
After the trial ends, you need an active paid teacher plan to continue using the Teacher Dashboard.
Educator plan selection should be based mainly on your monthly learner requirement.
If your plan has a learner limit, only that number of unique learners may be able to attempt your quizzes during the monthly cycle.
Teacher plans may require AutoPay or subscription setup, so always review billing details carefully before confirming.
