How do I switch between Learner and Teacher?
Switch roles from your account menu using the same account.
Use Learner to attempt quizzes and Teacher to create and manage them. Switch roles within the same account.
Your active role controls the menu and workspace you are using. You do not need separate accounts for learning and teaching. Switching roles changes which tools you see; it does not purchase or renew access.
Switch your role
- Sign in to your account.
- On desktop, open the role/profile dropdown at the top right. On mobile, tap the account icon at the top right.
- Choose Learner or Teacher. Wait for the switch to finish, then open the page you need.

Which role do I need?
Choose Learner for category quizzes, educator quizzes, My Categories and My Attempts. Choose Teacher for creating quizzes, adding questions, managing your educator profile and reviewing your learners’ saved submissions.
Why is the dashboard still locked?
Role selection and paid access are separate. Learner category purchases unlock that category’s paid quizzes. An educator plan or eligible trial unlocks Teacher Dashboard tools. Buying one does not automatically include the other. If the wrong workspace opens, check the selected role first.
