How do I keep my account secure?

Protect your password, email access and verification codes.

Keep your password, OTPs and signed-in account private. Use an email or Google account you can continue accessing.

Your account holds access purchases, saved attempts and any educator workspace. Keeping the same account secure also helps you recover access and identify transactions.

Protect your account

  • Choose a password that is difficult to guess. Avoid your name, mobile number, date of birth and common words.
  • Do not share passwords or OTPs, including in support tickets or screenshots.
  • When signing in with Google, check that you selected the account used to register.
  • On a shared device, sign out when finished and avoid leaving your account open.

Useful information

Email and verification

Your registration email is used for verification, password resets, account updates, payment communication and support. Check the address before registration and retain access to its inbox. Use the latest requested OTP rather than an older email.

Password requirements

Email/password registration and reset require at least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, a number and a supported symbol: @, $, !, %, *, ? or &. Meeting the form requirement is a starting point; avoid a predictable password.

If you cannot sign in

Reset an email/password account using its registered inbox. For Google sign-in, use that Google account. If the inbox is unavailable or the account shows a restriction, contact support with the account email and exact error, without secrets. See sign-in troubleshooting.
