Learn how Global Bank and My Question Bank work, how teachers can manage private bank questions, and how bank categories are different from quiz categories.
Quiz Pathshala provides question bank features to help teachers create quizzes faster and manage questions more easily.
There are mainly two question banks:
Global Bank
My Question Bank
Both banks are useful, but they work differently.
Global Bank is a system-managed question bank.
It contains questions added and managed by the Quiz Pathshala team.
Global Bank is managed by Quiz Pathshala.
Teachers cannot add, edit, delete, or upload questions into Global Bank.
Yes. Teachers can select questions from Global Bank and import them directly into their own quizzes.
This helps teachers save time while creating quizzes.

If you want to use Global Bank questions, you can import selected questions directly into your quiz.
My Question Bank is a private question bank for each teacher.
It is used to store and manage the teacher’s own questions.
Each teacher has their own My Question Bank.
Questions added by one teacher in My Question Bank are private to that teacher.
Other teachers cannot access your My Question Bank questions.
My Question Bank has its own categories and subcategories.
These are different from quiz categories.
Quiz categories and My Question Bank categories are not the same.
If you create a category from the main Category menu, that category is used for organizing quizzes.
That category will not automatically appear inside My Question Bank.
To create categories for My Question Bank:

Click My Question Bank from the left sidebar
Open Manage Categories
Create the required bank category
Create the required bank subcategory

Topic
Chapter
Exam
Difficulty area
Practice group
This becomes useful when your question bank grows.
My Question Bank questions also use difficulty.
Difficulty helps teachers filter and manage questions better.
Available difficulty levels may include:
Easy
Medium
Hard
When you add or import questions into My Question Bank, select the correct difficulty before saving or importing.
Teachers can add questions to My Question Bank in two main ways:
