How do Global Bank and My Question Bank differ?
Use ready system questions or organize your private question collection.
Global Bank holds Quiz Pathshala’s questions. My Question Bank holds your private questions for reuse.
Global Bank is a ready system collection for quiz import. My Question Bank is your own reusable collection for future quiz preparation. Their ownership and allowed destinations differ.
Global Bank
- Import selected available questions directly into your quiz.
- Teachers cannot add, edit or upload to Global Bank.
- Global Bank questions cannot be imported into My Question Bank.
Set up My Question Bank
- Open My question bank → Manage Categories in your active dashboard.
- Create a bank category/subcategory, separate from quiz categories.
- Use Add Question or Import Questions. Select bank category, subcategory and difficulty.
- For quiz use, open Quizzes → View All Quizzes and choose Import → Import Questions from My Bank.
Your bank is private and initially empty. Adding bank questions does not automatically add them to a quiz.

Bank categories are separate
Main dashboard Categories organizes quizzes; it does not automatically create a bank category. Use My question bank → Manage Categories for bank categories/subcategories, then assign bank questions and difficulty.
Adding and reusing questions
Use Add Question individually or Import Questions for a template-based set. Your bank stays private. Later choose its questions through the quiz’s My Bank import action. Global Bank does not accept your uploads and cannot be imported into your private bank. Review questions in the target quiz after importing.
Bank classification and privacy
Bank category, subcategory and difficulty are required when adding/importing bank questions. Difficulty choices include Easy, Medium and Hard. Other teachers cannot browse your private bank. You can import your own stored questions into more than one of your quizzes; My Question Bank is useful but not compulsory for every quiz.
