How do I edit a published quiz?
Update quiz settings/questions and review changes before sharing.
On Quizzes → View All Quizzes, click Edit to change settings. Manage questions with the question actions on the same list.
Use Edit for quiz-level rules and the question-management controls for answer options, correct selections and explanations. Change only the fields relevant to the correction so unrelated settings remain intact.
Before you start: Sign in, switch to Teacher, and open the Teacher Dashboard with an active educator plan or trial.
Edit settings
- Find the quiz and click Edit.
- Update title/category, modes, timer, scoring, limit, schedule, reveal time, code or active status as needed.
- Save, then check the learner page and changed settings.
Edit questions
Use the quiz’s question-management action to edit its questions, or add more questions. You can edit only your own quiz content.

Changes to check carefully
A changed slug affects shared URLs. A changed code requires the current code on the next check. Changed start/end/reveal settings affect when learners can start or see answers. Read the form’s schedule confirmation before saving.
Earlier results
Saved attempts capture question/options and scoring on submission. Later answer/mark edits do not automatically recompute them. Use their saved reviews when investigating earlier results. Avoid changing questions, scoring or status during an active test. After editing, check the learner page’s mode/status and applicable access rules.
