What happens when my teacher plan expires?
Learn what happens when a teacher plan or trial expires, how dashboard access is locked, how educator profile visibility is affected, and how teachers can restore access.
Teacher Dashboard access on Quiz Pathshala depends on an active teacher plan or active trial.
If your teacher plan or trial expires, your teacher workspace may become locked until you activate a valid teacher plan again.
What happens when a teacher plan expires?
When a teacher plan expires, Teacher Dashboard access becomes locked.
You may not be able to create, edit, view, or manage teacher dashboard content until you activate a valid teacher plan again.
This may affect access to:
Teacher categories
Teacher subcategories
Quizzes
Questions
My Question Bank
Quiz attempt reports
Learner reports
Quiz settings
Teacher tools
What does locked dashboard mean?
Locked dashboard means your teacher tools are restricted.
Instead of the normal Teacher Dashboard, you may see a locked workspace page.
This page may show a summary of your existing teacher data, such as:
Categories count
Quizzes count
Questions count
Active quizzes count
The page may also show available teacher plans and an option to activate a teacher plan.
Can I manage my quizzes after plan expiry?
No. If your teacher plan is expired or inactive, you may not be able to manage your quizzes from the Teacher Dashboard.
You may not be able to:
View normal dashboard tools
Create new quizzes
Edit existing quizzes
Add or import questions
Manage My Question Bank
View old attempt reports
Review learner answers
Manage quiz settings
Manage active quizzes
To manage these again, you need to activate a valid teacher plan.
What happens to my educator profile?
When your teacher plan expires, your educator profile may become hidden or inactive from the Educators page.
If your educator profile is hidden, learners may not be able to see your educator profile.
Because the profile is hidden, learners may also not be able to access:
Your educator categories
Your educator subcategories
Your teacher-created quizzes
Your public quizzes
Your private quizzes
Can learners attempt my quizzes after plan expiry?
No. Learners may not be able to attempt your teacher-created quizzes while your teacher plan is expired or inactive.
This can happen even if:
The quiz is active
The quiz is public
The learner has the correct access code
The quiz schedule is open
The learner has attempts remaining
The learner was already allowed earlier
Teacher-created quiz access depends on active teacher plan status.
What happens to public quizzes?
Public quizzes may become unavailable to learners when the teacher plan expires.
Even though a public quiz does not require an access code, learners may not be able to access or attempt it while the teacher plan is inactive.
What happens to private quizzes and access codes?
Private quizzes may also become unavailable when the teacher plan expires.
Even if a learner has the correct access code, the quiz may not be accessible until the teacher plan becomes active again.
Access code does not override teacher plan status.
Are my categories, quizzes, and questions deleted immediately?
No. Your teacher-created content is not deleted immediately when your teacher plan expires.
Your existing teacher workspace data may remain stored for a limited period.
This may include:
Teacher categories
Teacher subcategories
Quizzes
Questions
My Question Bank questions
Quiz settings
Saved attempt records, where available
However, you may not be able to access or manage this data while your teacher plan is inactive.
What happens if the plan remains inactive for 1 year?
If your teacher plan remains inactive for 1 year, teacher-created inactive workspace data will be eligible for deletion as per platform policy.
This may include:
Teacher categories
Teacher subcategories
Teacher-created quizzes
Quiz questions
My Question Bank questions
Related teacher workspace records
Before deletion, Quiz Pathshala may send reminders or warnings through available contact methods.
This cleanup applies to inactive teacher workspace data. It does not mean that the user account itself is deleted.
Why inactive teacher data may be removed
Quiz Pathshala stores teacher-created content for active teacher use.
If a teacher creates a large amount of content but does not continue using the teacher workspace for a long time, that unused data may affect platform storage and performance.
For this reason, inactive teacher workspace data may be cleaned after the allowed inactive period.
What happens when a free trial expires?
If you were using a free trial and the trial expires, your Teacher Dashboard may become locked until you activate a paid teacher plan.
After the trial ends, learners may not be able to access or attempt your teacher-created quizzes unless you have an active plan.
How can I restore Teacher Dashboard access?
To restore Teacher Dashboard access, activate a valid teacher plan.
You can:
Open the locked dashboard page
Choose a teacher plan
Complete the plan activation or payment
Return to the Teacher Dashboard after successful activation
After your teacher plan becomes active again, dashboard access should be restored based on platform rules.
What happens after activating a plan again?
After you activate a valid teacher plan again, your Teacher Dashboard access will be restored.
You can manage your teacher workspace again if your workspace data is still available.
You will be able to:
Access the Teacher Dashboard
Manage categories and subcategories
Manage quizzes
Add or import questions
Manage My Question Bank
View saved attempt records, where available
Review learner results, where available
Use teacher tools based on your active plan
If your plan is active but dashboard access is still locked, contact Quiz Pathshala support for help.
What should I check after restoring a plan?
After your teacher plan becomes active again, check:
Educator profile status
Quiz active status
Quiz modes
Questions
Access code settings
Start and end time
Attempt limit
Monthly learner limit
Blocked learners
My Question Bank data
Previous attempt reports, if available
What if my learner limit was full before expiry?
If your learner limit was full before expiry, new learner access may still depend on the current plan cycle and available learner limit after activation.
If you need more learners, you may need to upgrade to a plan with a higher monthly learner limit.
Can I continue as a learner if my teacher plan expires?
Yes. Teacher plan access and learner access are separate.
If your teacher plan expires, it affects Teacher Dashboard features and teacher-created quiz access.
Your Learner role, learner category purchases, and available learner content are separate and depend on learner access rules.
Important note
Teacher plan expiry does not immediately delete your teacher-created content.
However, your Teacher Dashboard may become locked, your educator profile may become hidden or inactive, and learners may not be able to access your teacher-created quizzes while your plan is inactive.
If your teacher plan remains inactive for 1 year, teacher-created inactive workspace data such as categories, quizzes, questions, and My Question Bank data may be deleted as per platform policy.
To unlock your dashboard again, activate a valid teacher plan and review your educator profile, quiz status, access code, schedule, learner limit, and other settings.
