How does the educator free trial work?
Check one-time eligibility, trial limits, AutoPay and the first paid charge.
An eligible trial gives temporary Teacher Dashboard access. It requires AutoPay setup; future paid billing follows the checkout schedule unless renewal is cancelled.
Trial is a limited opportunity to try the educator workspace, not permanent free access or a new trial for each plan.
Start and check a trial
- Sign in, switch to Teacher and open Educator Plans.
- Check whether your account is offered Trial + AutoPay. Review trial duration, learner allowance, future plan amount and first charge date.
- Complete the required AutoPay authorization. Follow the gateway’s setup/verification details.
- After activation, check My Plans for the trial end and subscription status. Use the available workspace features within its limits.
Useful information
Who is eligible?
Trial is generally one-time per user across educator plans. A previously used trial or direct paid activation can make a later trial unavailable. A failed/pending checkout is not proof that trial access was activated; check the actual offered eligibility and status.
What is charged and recorded?
No paid plan amount is charged at trial start. Review any gateway authorization/verification details rather than assuming every setup transaction is a plan charge. Teacher Billing can show a trial/mandate confirmation; a paid receipt follows a successful paid charge.
At trial end
With active AutoPay, the first paid charge follows the approved schedule and verified billing can continue access. If renewal was cancelled, remaining trial access continues to its existing end, then usable dashboard/educator quiz access can stop. Failed billing follows any grace/payment deadline shown.
